Meet Percy and Sandra, the heart and soul behind Bar H Grazing! Percy was a true pioneer, one of the first Australian graziers to recognize the need for higher-quality beef in the industry. It was a privilege to have Percy oversee operations at River Lea, where he generously shared his vast knowledge and deep-rooted passion for Wagyu, inspiring the team to carry forward his vision for the breed.
Sandra, the matriarch of the Hornery family, radiates warmth and makes everyone feel right at home. As one of Bar H Grazing’s founders, she’s involved in the day-to-day activities at River Lea, working closely with the dogs and horses to keep them in top shape for their roles on the property. Together, Percy and Sandra’s legacy and dedication continue to shape Bar H in extraordinary ways.

We want to make sure our buyers are supported long term, working together to make sure their herd performance is improving in an increasingly competitive environment.
Our goal for Wagyu Central is for Bar H to be producing the best Wagyu seedstock possible for our clients, and a trusted guide for them as they navigate commercial Wagyu production.
